Only The Third Post This Month

with one comment

Yes, I know I’m behind with updating this thing

Two really quick things, then I’m going to bed. Number one. Dominos now has their double melt pizza again. They had it back like 4 years ago, and then 3 years ago it was gone. Now, its back. Though its called Crispy Melt now. Same thing though, basically. It doesn’t taste quite as good as the original.

And second: Facebook has removed the verb “is” from users’ status setting. Rather than being stuck with “Adam is *blank*” you now have control of EVERYTHING after your name. This leaves just “Adam *blank*”. Though, its funny when people forget that “is” isn’t there anymore and post a status update with no verb. It actually amuses me very little, just something I wanted to point out.

So, basically kudos goes out to both Dominos and Facebook. And I leave you now with a holiday and personal picture from Noe Valley:

San Fran Thus Far

with 2 comments

Well, itsĀ  been a week. A few things I have learned in the short time I have been here:

Music in mono is terrible. I conveniently forgot a power cord. I brought two, one for each of my powered speakers, completely neglecting my 002. So I’m left with the option of monaural music or no music at all, since everything has to go through the 002 (with the other cables that I have, believe me I tried other options).

Rain is not something I am fond of.

San Francisco can be very steep at times. I was aware of this fact but never really experienced it. When I was young, or when I visited with my family, if I was ever walking around it would be at a “slower than normal” pace for whatever reason. Groups tend to walk slower than an individual (in my case at least). So I’m trying to practically speed walk up these steep inclines and am sweating despite the (very very comfortable) high 50 degree weather.

Packing peanuts are very very annoying to dispose of. (see my Flickr photos, under “Mayhem”)

It is more difficult to adjust to time zone changes going west if you are the type of person who usually goes to bed early. The fact that I would usually get tired and go to bed at 9:00 pm EST did not make it easy to stay up past anything close to 9:00 pm PST!

I never saw Arrested Development season 2 despite previously owning it.

Guitar strings become fragile after transportation cross country. I tried tuning, which resulted in breaking my high E string. I need to get another set (as well as that power cord).

Going to Bed

without comments

I made it to San Francisco (as of Saturday the 1st)!

I am unfortunately quite tired at the moment and just finished unpacking my computer which came in the mail today (see my Flickr, haha). So, I know I need to write something with pictures and whatnot, and I plan to. Right now, its raining. Not too good for pictures of the area. And as mentioned before, I am le tired.

So no actual post for right now. Ugh! Stephen Kellogg pictures are still not uploaded. I am so slow with these things. Busy busy busy…

Sincerely,
Adam Noel
