Updated the page (finally)

No "Even Less" by PT? I held off putting a PT song up for now. Lightbulb Sun is kinda slow. So is Last Chance... decisions, decisions.

I'll post one of the pictures soon, I'm slow.

A video would be really sweet. We'll obviously be video/audio-taping the entire thing.

I think we need to do an acoustic set in the middle of this beast!

Sympathy For The Devil by the Rolling Stones should be a good one, so I'm officially requesting it!

Some additions from our rehearsal two weeks ago.

Hyper Music by Muse, the blues rendition
Train Kept A Rollin' by The Yardbirds/Led Zeppelin/Aerosmith (blue rock standard)
Baba O'Riley by The Who complete with backing track
See Me Feel Me/Listening To You (the ending of Tommy) by The Who
Completely Improvised Jam/Soundscape by Us. "We're so good we don't need to rehearse or even write songs!"
Where The Streets Have No Name by U2 will be our U2 song, no medley necessary.
I'm thinking either Lightbulb Sun or the beginning bit of Last Chance To Evacuate... can be our Porcupine Tree song.

When are you going to change that picture?

Also I think I can make some videos to play behind us. I think.

BBQ Ribs is a must play. The 13-bar version of Next 100 miles in Am, ....

I agree with most of what has been said already.

Where the Streets Have No Names (or a medley of U2 as Adam suggested)
Hey Baby (New Rising Sun)
Rip OFF (the "Revisited" version j/k about the Revisited part)
This

I'll add a bit more at a later time.

Alex is going to have to sing The Power Of Love.

I don't remember the Amazacrazy or whatever, that must have been the one show I wasn't at. As for Echoes, Scott and I play it too well to completely ommit, we'll played the abridged version.

No Echoes. Definitely far far too long. I'd suggest maybe an edited version with the more up-beat sections? Oh wait, there aren't any, ha!

Perhaps a medley of some U2 songs?

We could even do the Aerosmith "Crazy, Cryin' Amazacrazy" (were you at that show?)

I added some to the page (as you can see).

Lot's of songs:

Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd (we can do most of the songs)
Echoes by Pink Floyd (all 25+ minutes of it)
The Man Who Sold The World by David Bowie (not Nirvana, even though it's the same song)
Some U2 songs, I don't know which ones but their songs are all very basic it's the arrangements that are tough.
Dear Mr. Fantasy by Traffic
Sunshine of Your Love by Cream
Some STP song, you decide
I think we can handle the title track from The Lamb by Genesis. The song's kind of simple so I think we can work out our own arrangement.

More to come.

By the way, I think that Arriving Somewhere by Porcupine Tree is very boring visually. Or rather that the band themself (is that the right usage) is very boring and the supplemental visuals/effects/cinematography is what makes it watchable. Otherwise just listen to the music which is indeed excellent! Sorry brotha! And I do agree that Love probably only won because it was The Beatles.

That reminds me, we've got to play some Beatles songs!

Love it! Perfect

I think I'm going to keep the comments here as well as update the page. Make things interesting. Or not interesting at all.
